Ľahké umelé kamenivo
The addition of our Lightweight Artificial Aggregate (LA) into concrete can significantly decrease its density without decreasing its strength.
LA is designed mainly for the production of
- Thermal Insulation Concrete and Structural Insulation Concrete, where the structure of concrete is usually interstitial
- Lightweight Structural Concrete with a dense structure
Shape, density and size of the produced LA
- LA can be made with a round surface or with an irregular (crashed) surface
- The density of LA can be adapted to the conditions of use - the building structures
- LA can be produced in various fractions from 1mm up to tens of millimetres.
Application - use of LA in the production of construction elements
- LA is handled similar to natural aggregates in the mix design.
- LA does not require any special equipment (only change of used aggregates)
- Suitable admixtures modify characteristics of fresh mix like in the ordinary concrete.
Example of manufacturing masonry blocks of LA
The LA fittings are lighter than classic concrete fittings, while they excel in thermal and noise-insulating properties. The fittings can be produced on conventional equipment, where only the input raw materials - aggregates - are exchanged.
Main advantages of our methods of LA production:
- It is possible to produce it essentially anywhere. When compared to other types of lightweight aggregate (expanded clay) like, e.g. Keramzit (Liapor, Leka, etc.) produced by roasting fusible, swelling clay ores along with slightly swelling clay ores and additives at a very high temperature, the production of our LA is not dependent on the occurrence of special natural raw materials on the site. Regional production & regional consumption => low transport costs.
- Our LA solidifies under natural conditions, therefore, its production does not consume as much energy as, for example, the production of Keramzit.
- Very convenient and effective method to utilize fine inorganic waste materials, such as dust particles, e.g., from processing stone, from various filters, fly ash, blast furnace slag and the like.
Ecology
Lightweight artificial aggregate fully replaces limited sources of natural aggregates and thus contributes to the reduction of consumption of non-renewable natural resources.
At the same time may solve the processing of secondary raw materials very effectively at natural temperatures, so the whole production process is energy-efficient.
It is one of the few technologies that is advantageous for reducing carbon dioxide emissions.
Depending on whether or not you want to process inorganic dusty waste, we can offer you two different technologies for the production of lightweight aggregates (LA), both in terms of used raw materials and production process (different machinery), as well as procurement cost:
- Technology for manufacturing LA (FCA) of Foam Concrete (FC)
- Technology for manufacturing LAs (RUGEN & FOMAPOR) from Fine Inorganic Waste Materials (FIWM)
FC Technology for Manufacturing FCA
Very simple technology consisting of the following main parts:
- Equipment for the production of foam concrete - concrete plant MS1000 with silos and conveyors.
- Trough or pit or another room for pouring the foam concrete.
- Excavator for loading hardened foam concrete.
- Foam concrete slicer or chipper.
- Granulator(s).
- Belt conveyors.
- Aggregate screens.
The principle of operation of this technology is very simple:
- First produce the required foam concrete according to a specific recipe.
- After hardening FC it is necessary to excavate, slice and cut it.
- Then the FC pieces are fed to the granulator where are changed into the FCA.
